I find it entertaining that an hour in the gym, then 2 1 hour sessions on the court during the offseason is considered commitment. He's a professional athlete, that should be the baseline IMO. Certainly not Kobe-esque.
This isn’t a king’s ransom for a guy who was 21 and 10 last year. People are irrational here with their hatred of Harden. In fact, the only group of fans here who have a better PG than Harden are the Celtics fans or the girls basketball writer because Holiday is a two way player and Halliburton is an up and comer . Harden would be the best option at PG on the Lakers, the Clippers, the Wizards, the Heat, the Knicks, the Raptors, the Warriors and yes even the Sixers.
Nope.I find it entertaining that an hour in the gym, then 2 1 hour sessions on the court during the offseason is considered commitment. He's a professional athlete, that should be the baseline IMO. Certainly not Kobe-esque.
Very good point. He's closer to Chris Paul value at this point, who netted a 2nd rounder in 2027, a top 20 protected 1st in 2030, Poole's questionable contract and Baldwin/Rollins. Sure Harden has more left in his career, but the likelihood of that being with the team that acquires him is a shot in the dark at this point.
He’s much better than DeAngelo Russell. Agreed?
Wow. You would be a shit GM. You can always dump Harden. Why would you even consider that as more than a last resort? Why would you consider that now when at a minimum $35 million of expiring salary has more value at the deadline. When did your team finally trade Russ? Deadline.
How many title contenders have been that weak at pg?
Bwahahaha! With Bones and RW they do not need Harden.
Homer talk.At one time he was. But honestly, I'd rather have D-Lo right now. He has a similar history of coming up small in the playoffs, including this past season. But at least there's little to no drama with him and he's still young enough to turn around his playoff performance.

Yeah....Harden is better but why deal with the drama Harden brings for a slight upgrade? At one time he was. But honestly, I'd rather have D-Lo right now. The only way you got back the pieces that you did because it was at the deadline. That kind of deal wasn’t out there to be had preseason. How much better would the Lakers have been last year had they moved on sooner? At least in the regular season? They likely would have had Turner to help with the Nuggets in the WCF and a 3 point shooter that wouldn't be in danger of the doghouse (Hield instead of Beasley).
If you're good with risking the fat suit, waiting might get a better offer, sure.
That’s fine but he’s not even close to the same player Harden is.Call it what you want. I want no part of Harden ever being a Laker.
Slight upgrade?Yeah....Harden is better but why deal with the drama Harden brings for a slight upgrade?
Yep.Slight upgrade?
He doesn’t have to be 21/10 to be much better than DLo. We saw what it looks like when DLo tries to run a team.Yep.
One is 27. The other is 34.
If you think JH repeats that double double this season....you're high.
Russell doesn't need to run a team when Bron is his teammateHe doesn’t have to be 21/10 to be much better than DLo. We saw what it looks like when DLo tries to run a team.
