Reunites with Thibs on the Knicks. Everyone says they'll be Finals contenders for sure. He plays 45 games and breaks down in the 1st round after Thibs plays him 38 mins a night

Dude is a dick to the 3rd power.

I said so even when he played for my team.
It was weird he was great on the Warriors. Never made a peep about coming off the bench, leaned into the role of running the 2nd unit and helping develop the kids. Got some great looks to Kuminga and TJD. Gonna miss him.

Rib injuries are very painful to be fair. And there is no way to really numb it
yep...when I had broken ribs doc said "gonna hurt a lot. Nothing we can do about it."

But Morris knows he'd have played. GTFOH.

Ya gotta love the fake tough guy. Says he has no idea how hurt Allen was, but knows he would have played?

hard to believe no one really wants him around the last 2-3 years.
You don’t know the dude then. No doubt he plays. Philly kids are built different.

Yo, you guys know that hockey players and football players play with broken ribs all the time right?

Jokic may not see that contract though.

He strikes me as a Barry Sanders or Calvin Johnson type. Loves the game but retires earlier than people think because he doesn't love the other stuff that comes with being a professional athlete.

The money is too big now to be that way though I think

Meh.

Jokic has a net worth of 50 million and has 165 million coming the next 3 seasons before a player option of 62 mill in the last year of the deal.

Jokic doesn't strike me as most other greedy players. I could see him walking away after 3 more seasons. Maybe after the player option.

Especially, if he starts getting hurt as he gets older. Not sure he would be up for some major rehab'ing since he has been relatively injury free through his career.

Very possible, especially if Nuggets get rid of Malone. I think that would be the one thing he would balk at, having to start over with a new coach.
However, if his wife does want him to keep playing, ;) , he could play for a long time as his game doesn’t depend on his athleticism. At least in the traditional thought of ways.
