Glad I wasn't the only one sick to my stomach
What a class A douchebag (not you, bksballer)!
Perhaps the Lakers have become league-wide persona non grata.
Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert would never trade Donovan Mitchell to the Lakers
The Lakers may want to trade for Donovan Mitchell, but the Cavaliers may not deal with them in good faith.sports.yahoo.com
It makes sense if he is viewing it as the Lakers are unlikely to be able to offer the best package. Almost any trade is going to have to include Russell, and if you thought Garland and Mitchell were bad...Perhaps the Lakers have become league-wide persona non grata.

I'm guessing that's what he meant IF he said it(LA wont be offering enough). As to your other comments I agree and why I doubt Gilbert ever made that comment. It makes sense if he is viewing it as the Lakers are unlikely to be able to offer the best package. That being said, outright rejecting any trade before you see what offer they come up with is just bad business. An owner stepping into the GM lane before any type of negotiation happens damages the teams reputation, and undercuts his GMs ability to make the best deal.
Even if you have no intention of ever making that trade, being able to say no I will take the Lakers deal as extra leverage is valuable. Just like how the NBA uses Seatle to get stadiums whenever they want.

and while I highly doubt he ends up there (and guessing you agree) a 3 team deal also possible to help make it work.Yeah, if the Lakers come in with best offer, he's accepting it. To do otherwise would be cutting off his nose to spite his face.
It was a joke. Settle down big guyNah, I just criticize you for the overly dramatic way you talk about the refs.
Almost every day.
I embrace my douchebagnessNah tlance, I am not calling you a douchebag, just Van Gundy. Damn, I am going to have include all of the frikin' thread participants (regulars) next time I call someone a douchebag!
