Watching Garland try to play defense against the oversized Celtic guards and wings was rough.

Dude got quicks and some offensive punch... but it's tough when you always gotta cover for a defensive hole on your roster like him.

Imagine watching his inconsistent shot this year too. His ceiling was built off his shot creation, passing ability and his shooting ability. If he can't shoot he is basically a negative on the floor. He can't stay in front of his man and even if he does they can push him around. Even on the switch he just taps the guy on the switch and he easily goes to the hoop. The effort is there at times but it's still rough to watch

Why would he sign a 3 year contract and just not opt into his player option this year. I doubt he even plays 3 more years. I could see 2 more years. One in LA, one with Bronny. If the Lakers draft Bronny then maybe he plays in 24-25 and 25-26.

Who knows? Maybe Bron wants to be the Tom Brady of the NBA...play as long as he can if he is playing at a high level....

Looks like $180M. This makes more sense bc his money goes up. The 160 didn't make sense. Not doubting he can play 3 more years. In this case, they are trading those 1st's this year IMO
