@eaglesnut

My stating it will be Ben Simmons best year is not necessarily a positive declaration as to his character. It's because he is going to try and fool a team one last time into giving him a great big deal that he can milk out and claim mental health and back issues on.

And then he will retire.
But I hadn't thought of that turd for a month.

You could be right and that would be mildly amusing. But he should die instead.

Coach Kerr....the Dubs' core....

That would be dumb. It’s over, time to move on from Klay. It would be a mistake paying him. The sooner they can move off Dray, the better. Build around Steph and the young pieces until he retires

What they’re talking about here is a play I saw before. The Phillies were driven by good vibes and nostalgia and re-upped on Ryan Howard, Cole Hamels, Chase Utley, Carlos Ruiz, Jimmy Rollins. All of them ended up getting traded away in the end anyway. However, committing to them cost the Phillies dearly. They went like 11 years without making the playoffs and part of that futility came in them having 3-4 lost seasons because of giving local heroes bad contracts. Dubs have already done that to an extent. Draymond has 3 years left at roughly 75 million. Yikes.

How is everyone skipping over Shaq and Chuck calling out Zion for hamstring soreness?

This is like me calling out the Jontay Porter deal 2 weeks ago and it getting snoozed on.

They should've been calling out the head coach for keeping Ingram on the bench the rest of the way.

I think he just doesn't know how to take care of his body. He probably went a long time doing the same shit that he did when he was growing up and once you get older you can't do that shit. I'm sure the trainers, coaches, etc. tell him what he needs to do but he doesn't have the work ethic. Unfortunate for N.O.

Cake and skittles make a body strong, no?

That ship has sailed.

But I think most fans are going to want to see the core do their farewell thing together.
They did that this year right?

Is that still true though about his value to the Warriors? It seems like the pieces aren’t there anymore outside of Curry. That’s a lot of contract to deal.

This was the inevitable way the dynasty would end, given how high they pushed the envelope with spending. Guys are aging out without any real trade value with the Warriors still over the cap without them. They don't have a real path to cap space until 25/26, and that's largely due to the expected cap hike. They're still $30M over the cap next season even if they renounce the rights to CP3 and Klay.

I'd definitely be done with Klay but I also understand giving him a 1 year send off or something.

I don’t think that’s true

They’re right at the cap line with 10 players under contract

They may not be a cap team but if they want they can use the big mle

But the reality and the tldr of the warriors situation is they’re irrelevant for title purposes without fluke year Wiggins making a comeback

That was this year. They watched him go 0-15 in the last game lol
