Very true of the East. There is one team though that when I watch them I think if they play their best they aren’t losing. No it’s not the Thunder, but it’s not the Celtics either.

Not even the 73 win warriors was this far ahead of the 2nd best team in basketball

That’s the Sixers. If Embiid is the Embiid we’ve seen through 38+ games and he shows up in the playoffs then they can’t be beaten.

The benefit of missing him for 9 weeks is that the Embiid Off minutes have been really good lately. BBall Paul has found a way to impact the game as a small ball 5 and other guys have stepped up. Maxey isn’t a true blue point guard. It’s hard for me to admit, but Kyle Lowry really was a great pick up for this group. He allows Maxey to play minutes off ball.

I’m not handicapping any of that. I’m talking about how the two teams match up and the Sixers > Nuggets. They have to play Aaron Gordon on Embiid because they can’t have Joker get in foul trouble.

I don’t disagree. But you’re overplaying who the Heat are. They’re just not that good. Jimmy would have to flip a light switch in a tremendous way. Like Clark Kent coming out of a phone booth shit because dude just doesn’t look right right now.
