Wade breakout year already happened lol I'm a heat fan. He already had multiple great seasons including the finals run in 06 which offically made him a superstar. I believe he had shoulder surgery which is likely the reason why he had same votes as Allen

They have not bee playing great as of late. 4-5 in their last 9 until they won today. Not to mention, PG and Leonard have battled injury issues throughout their careers.

No, he had 2 breakouts.

08/09 was the first time he was a legit MVP candidate and the first time he made all NBA 1st team.

That was when he fully emerged as a superstar.

Before that he was on the fringe.

And like you said, the year before the survey was the year that:

A) Celtics won the title
B) Wade got hurt and his numbers were down a little

So I feel like this survey is the absolute pinnacle for Ray Allen, and somewhat of a low point for Wade.

They are winning 66% of their games through 59 games aka 71% of the season. I’m supposed to believe they are going to go about 8-15 to end the season which is what it will likely take for them to finish below 6th
