I will say though, if the plan to keep Lebron around 30ish minutes a game is going to work, the Lakers are going to have to figure out how to play without him on the floor.

After the first 2 games the +/- differential from when he's on the floor vs. when he's not is ridiculous.

Davis just has to be more like the player he was in NOLA. Some nights he is and some nights he disappears.

When AD plays like he did Thursday the Lakers are a contender.

When he doesn’t they are not.

Injury recovery would be about it. But I doubt Lebron used roids probably moreso HGH

I doubt they'll ever say it publicly, but I'd bet that's at least a small part of the reason for limiting Lebron's minutes. AD defers to Lebron too much. If Lebron isn't on the floor with him, he can't defer.
