Starting to get insecure like Klay
Hell of a night by Rui. Didn't see that coming...
That win over the Celtics with Lebron and AD out seems to have really "jump started" the role players. They've been deferring less and have really been playing well since that game.
That and Lebrons hourglass stuff I think. I think those 2 events coincide. That win over the Celtics with Lebron and AD out seems to have really "jump started" the role players. They've been deferring less and have really been playing well since that game.
Well, there's more minutes to go around with so many out injured. With Lebron out, there's not really anyone to defer to...

It probably helps that the Lakers hit a soft part of the schedule, too... really only one good win since then (over New Orleans)...That win over the Celtics with Lebron and AD out seems to have really "jump started" the role players. Sure... I'm not denying that. You realize the Lakers have had plenty of injuries themselves, right?
Sure... I'm not denying that.
Just sayin'... hard to judge if this is some meaningful renaissance in the grand scheme of things when the opponents have been soft.
Yep.Not really. They're 2-1 vs. the Thunder, 2-1 vs. the Clippers, 3-0 vs. the Suns and 2-1 vs. the Pels.
They've actually almost struggled more vs the teams they're "supposed to beat".
