Will help, but they need more (stand-in for Vando, conventional big). They probably won't get more, since waiving anyone else off the roster locks in cap hits for next season (whether they were to waive Hayes, Lewis or Reddish). The one expiring they could release would be Prince, which you know Ham will not allow. This is their roster moving forward.

I get why they couldn't do it, but I kinda wish they just elevated the entire Rucco/JJ/Jefferson crew to the #1 team. In the offseason, they need to do a rearrangement. Keep Breen on the #1 if he doesn't retire, pair him JJ and Jefferson. Bump Doris down to some other pairing
