See you next year.

Things sure don't look as good as they did two weeks ago, But I'll stick around and watch it play out. I guess I'm funny that way...

Why are we surprised about our defense? It still sucks. We hired and gave a lot of money to a retread coach who needs a Warren Sapp and other elite All-Stars to make his defense work.

This one was on the coaches. From the 5 yard penalty that gave the Saints the free field goal, the decision to not let Weeden throw, and the repeated decisions to let Drew Brees, a guy throwing at an 80% completion rate, to sit back with just a 4 man rush in the 2nd half when the D-line is exhausted.

We won't win another game until Dez is back and they open up the passing game.

I won't say we won't win another game till Dez gets back. However, the running game did make the defence look much better then it was last year.

Same here. We are 2-2, and getting back Hardy and Ro will be huge. I'm guessing Lee will be out next week, which is a blow. As far as what the Cowboys can try and do, I'm ready to see Michael have a shot. Randle has proven he isn't worth a crap, the lack of a running game is killing the D, and putting Weeden in 2nd and 10, 3rd and 8 type throwing situations.

I think the lack of a running game has a lot to do with the passing not even being a threat to go deep.

By week 6 the defense should or at least could be at full strength, Dez us saying he'll be back by week 7, the season is far from over, I'm here for the long hall.

Well I have to say for once I agree with Manster... Dallas season is FAR from over. The Redskins suck and put together a 90 yard drive to beat an awful Eagles team. Its down to the Giants and Dallas. Your players are coming back and 2-2 isnt the end of the world. Dallas with all the injuries is still in the drivers seat this year and the way it looks for the next several years.

There's no way you give up on a season where you are 2-2 and tied for the division lead. The schedule is tough, starting with New England, but I've seen bigger upsets. The Cowboys are at home, will be playing desperate, and will have some players back. They will need to be plus 2 or 3 in turnovers and maybe have a defensive or special teams score, but stranger things have happened in the NFL

Season over? Did the Giants, Redskins, and Eagles turn into the Packers, Seahawks, and Cardinals? Am I missing something here?

Seriously though, lol at Butler not scoring because he hurt himself. And lol at Saints winning on a play where the 3rd string LB was in because of injuries. This season is a joke with injuries. They are directly costing us games.

Yea ..The Saints are not the offensive juggernaut they once were. But Saints were at home and Brees is still throwing.

No Romo, No Dez, No Murray and No Lee In short, leaderless on both sides of the ball...and we tied the game with a minute left.

I just want an average or a little above average defense. It seems to have been missing for 20 years.

I guess we will be day to day on Lee. Let's hope he suits up. It would be nice to have Gregory also, but seeing our LBs at full strength with Hardy playing is something I'm looking forward to.

But we did go deep more than once and completed one.

The defense has a lot of talent coming back. Now about that running game....a conditional 5th for Matt Forte?

Because of our health I think the Giants are probably the ones looking the best right now, but Dallas is right in the thick of it obviously. We need to hang on a little, as compared to two weeks ago where even after the injuries I was thinking open the lead up a little between weeks 3 and 4. We lost two games I really thought we would have won. Now it gets a little tougher. But if Dallas upsets NE this week that would change everything.

I think we saw last night that "protecting" Weeden While keeping it simpler wasn't helping him. He looked much better when we went 5 wide. He is an NFL QB, let him be one. Obviously that won't be the game plan all day, but maybe on 3rd down we keep things spread out a little more and give him some options. I still think the Offense (and Weeden) gained some confidence on that last drive. I just wish the defense could have held to give them a chance.
