Yeah I told my GF after they take all this time for the review the Garrett will ice him also. Two very long kicks. I thought the 2nd one was turning left but it held on .... barely.

The throw was big time, rolling left away from his throwing arm ... perfect throw ... great job by Cook to catch and stay in bounds and then the two kicks. Although I was rooting for the Packers Bailey's kick was 52 yards. It was a helluva a game.

Big time kicks. Just glad everyone in the east who were in the playoffs are home like us.

Throughly enjoyed this one, Crosby's kick was indeed big but the play of the game was that catch that set it up. Dude's knee was literally inches off of the ground, his left toe literally inches from the sideline and he had to secure the catch then drag his right foot. All of this within a second.

Also maybe this isnt the right time because Im not trying to start another Kirk argument but...

last year the Washington Post ran an article asking whether youd rather have Kirk or Rodgers for the next 5 years. I think thats a large part of why Breed and I get frustrated at the Kirk love. We can love our QB and stick with him without comparing him to the most talented QB of all time.

But all in all...today is a good day cuz screw dallas.

Looks like an excuse to restart the Cousins again. Most here don't think Cousins is better than Rodgers. Cousins is however the last QB to beat them. :D But in the end this game had nothing to do with Cousin's. If he gets paid it is all about what the market will bare and whether the front office wants to pay it.

For sure. Again I dont want to start the debate. I want cousins back again. But to act like Cousins v Rodgers is even a debate is INSANE. And I think thats some of what Breed and I have been talking about. Because really neither of us has been negative about Cousins (despite what some people imagine).

The thing is, we arent debating a Cousins over Rogers situation. What we are, or have been debating is a Cousins over CHASING a potential Rogers. If you could 100%, or even 80% guarantee we could get the next Rogers in this draft, or in FA.. or shit within the next 3 drafts then I would be all for letting Cousins walk, no compensation what so ever. But since the best any one can say is.. well he isnt Rogers and we MIGHT find some one better.... well odds are we will find some one worse.

So there you have it.

While co-signing everything E said in this post. I'd like to double down on the "this is not to kick start the Cuz debate again." We need to re-sign Cuz and personally I'd like it to happen rather than later.

And yes, The the Dallas loss and the universal butthurt their fans are experiencing is indeed a wonder to behold.........you bitches.

PS
Was pulin for KC, but congrats to the Steelers and their fans. Now get on to New England and ass paddle the Pats right out the playoffs.

I think what we (E and I) were debating is something different from what you were debating. One of your debate points was.....the defense did nothing to help KC and the offense. All the defense did was hurt/hinder them. That simply wasn't true.

I could be wrong about this but I honestly believe that you are the only person here forwarding that argument. There is such a person who's better than Kirk Cousins, and is not an Aaron Rodgers type. Exactly what you believe Kirk to be or isn't guides a persons thinking on the subject. Hell no I'm not naming them.

Who is that person, and is he available to us?? If not, then as i have stated all you are proposing is we keep chasing elite then wonder why we suck.

The fact that our DC got fired after two years says the defense did more harm than good. Or would you disagree??

You are entitled to your opinion, but I'm telling you that you're missing a piece here. This is not an either /or proposition as you suggest. There are gradients between, Cousins and Rogers. Not actively in search of that next step up does more damage long term than assuming you've done the best that you can and doing nothing. I do hope that you will agree that keeping Cousins AND finding his replacement is what's best long term. BTW: The turnover rate in the NFL is incredibly high, that guy that you want me to name is out there somewhere, possibly in high school if we're lucky enough to have Kirk stay around that long, I wouldn't count on his longevity though.

Sure, as long as you agree that the idea of not keeping Cousins and continuing to chase elite is the worst possible thing we could do long term for this team.
