Thad Lewis Gets Start for Bills this Weekend

So here we go with another rookie QB and WE ALL KNOW how we play against rookie QB's.....We need to win I hope we win.... or better yet WE BETTER NOT LET A DAMN THAD LEWIS LOOK LIKE 07 BRADY.....

This is a must win game. We'll need at least three road ends to make the playoffs, and this should be low hanging fruit.

Hopefully we'll not have a letdown. The only thing we should have to worry about defensively are the running backs. Spiller and Jackson are an excellent tandem.

Thad Lewis is not a rookie QB. He was undrafted in 2010 but made the Rams team. He was the. On the Browns in 2011 and 2012. He even started a game for them and played decent.

It is always tough playing the Bills anymore. It is almost like they put a voodoo curse on us after we took 3 games against them in 88' to make it to the SB.

This game scares me a little bit, especially with the offense looking like crap. Defense will come out,. look complacent because they expect to roll over the Bills line and they get shut out, while our offense can't quite catch up, because the defense will not give them as many opportunities this week like they did against the Patriots.

Not looking good, but I will stay optmistic I guess and go with 23-20 Bengals.

I wasn't very impressed with the Bills special teams effort against Cleveland. I figure a rookie qb and bad coverage teams could lead to favorable field position and a few cheap scores. This is predicated on the notion that we use PacMan on some punt returns like we did yesterday.

Not a rookie, but for sure an unproven commodity with limited game tape on him in the pros. This usually spells doom and gloom for the Bengals. Hopefully, Zimmer can over come that this time with our current defense.

He started one meaningless game for Cleveland last year. In that game, half of the Steelers players were making their vacation plans on the sideline after being knocked out of the playoffs by the Bengals the week before..... And they still won by 2 touchdowns.

If Thad does anything against us, it's because we are playing down to the level of our competition.

Buffalo's secondary is one of the better secondaries in the league as far as creating TO's. I wouldn't be too surprised if Dalton throws 1 or 2 picks.

They have been one of the tops for a few years now. Their safeties are really good at that sheet. I anticipate a really close game with a couple INT's from Dalton. Still hoping we can come out on top though, even if it is a squeeker.

With our defense, if we can't beat Thad Lewis in his second career start, I don't see how anyone has the confidence that this team is built for any sort of run.

Losing the Cleveland was one thing.... They see us every year and they have the makings of a fantastic defense.

Buffalo is giving up 26 points per game. They are starting a former undrafted FA with one start in the league. Their number one receiver might not even play. There is absolutely no reason this game should even be close.

That is very true, but you forget who you are talking about. We always play at our level of competition. If we play a shit team, we play like shit to keep the score close for whatever reason, but usually win (lately anyways). We play a good team like GB and NE, we play at their level but usually lose. Hard to tell. Our biggest guess on how we are goign to do this year has been whether or not we are playing at home or on the road. Usually we are a better road team it seems than home team, btu that seems to have changed this year.
