After TCU beat them like a drum, they'll be on here talking about Bob Stoops has lost it, OC sucks, DC sucks, etc...

TCU is no powerhouse. Texas tech gave them all they wanted.

That would mean that at the end of the season a few current 0 loss teams would guaranteed have losses (TCU, Baylor, OkieJr, and two from Big10), LSU or Bama would have another loss, and that would leave 1-Big10, Clemson, Bama/LSU as the likely teams ahead of you. ND/Stanford/Utah might have something to say, but Utah or Stanford is going to lose again. A resume of beating a 1 loss OkieLite, Baylor, and TCU would move you ahead of most other 1 loss teams.

gotta figure out what is up with our QB's around mid-season. I don't buy the competition is jsut that much better. Two years in a row that our QB's went from making the right reads to just fluttering the ball right to the defense.

Just because I don't think they're a legit top 4 team doesn't mean I don't think they're a very good team. OU will face three teams all with the potential to be undefeated heading into those three games. That's a gauntlet. Up your game. Stop being obtuse.

Big 12 is not a gauntlet anymore. Injuries have neutered TCU. Baylor lost its QB. Lots of solid teams, but I dont there is a top 10 team in the conference right now.

Codaxx, why are you expecting a huge drop off from Seth Russell to Jarrett Stidham?

Is it just the inexperience factor? Because Russell has only started about half a dozen games in his career, it's not like he's been the #1 guy for four years. Stidham was pretty highly sought after by several schools and was considered a major haul for Baylor. He might actually be a better athlete than either Petty or Russell.
