No matter how good the pitching is, the offense offers little support. Last night's performance by Derek was no exception. Seems like we continue losing by one or two runs.

You and I have been on the same page for many a month re: the lack of RBI potential on this roster - all 40 men worth - as presently constituted.

I do feel Prince will come back and be a contributor. If he is his 100 RBI self is yet to be seen. And I also think Choo will do a much better job next season of driving in runs.

But this still leaves us searching at 1st, 2nd, SS, CF, RF, C and DH. That's 3 positions minimum which are normally counted on to produce and we've got little to nothing to show.

RBI are a team driven stat, so what I am about to say is more just a talk about proper terms. Texas' slugging pct and obp are awful. Then again when you put that kind of lineup out there everyday those things will happen. RBI will happen with guys like Beltre and Prince in the middle of the lineup because they will get extra base hits.

Andrus has to be moved down in the order for the offense to compete next year. Wash won't do this, so he needs to go.

CJ has been pretty garbage this year. Went from a dude that never gives up homers to giving up over 1 every 9 innings.

No one wants to hear this, but Kinsler has had a very good season for the Tigers; both fielding and hitting.

Has only 6/7 errors while hitting around .280/13 HR/75ish RBI/good SLG %.

I was in favor of the trade, and still think the change of scenery did Ian a lot of good.
