Thanks Kirkman. You still suck. Agree with Murph, he cannot pitch at ML level.

It's interesting..... I've been paying attention to the pitching matchups lately. The last 3-4 years it seemed like we always got every teams ace. Now we rarely see them. I guess everyone used to give us their best shot, now we're cannon fodder.
Noticed we missed Shields twice

Well I am feeling a lot better about Derek. Not even because of results. He looked like a pitcher and that's the most important thing.

Jason Frasor gets the win and Kirkman takes the loss, imagine that

In my book he certainly has.

I was a little surprised they let him throw 105 pitches. Although he looked much better for the first time out than I thought he would.

Kirkman is the record 38th pitcher used by the Rangers this year and I believe his being here has also set a Ranger record for most patience displayed by the organization for a pitcher.

Kirkman had already pitched here earlier this season. Remember?

So he got 1 out of the 3 LHers out. That's some kind of specialist there.

I was campaigning for him earlier. But he certainly flunked his first test.

Nice to see a LO hitter with so much patience.

Martin saw 7 pitches in 4 AB

No he hadn't. He was taken off the 40 man roster during the Spring. He had to clear waivers before he could be placed on the AAA roster.

Imagine that. He cleared waivers. Can we please let this guy go. He will always be a mental midget. For the life of me I cannot figure out what the Rangers keep seeing in this guy. We have let better people go or be jerked around than Kirkman.

Well, awoke this morning to see that our buddy Kirkman has immediately made a contribution. It's a great plan, keep bringing him in and the #1 pick is guaranteed...

The Rangers transferred right-hander Tanner Scheppers to the 60-day disabled list Tuesday and brought in several reinforcements for the final month of the season.

Right-handers Lisalverto Bonilla and Nick Tepesch and infielder Luis Sardinas were recalled from Triple-A Round Rock, while left-hander Michael Kirkman had his contract purchased from the same club.

Right-hander Spencer Patton is scheduled to join the Rangers on Thursday when they open a series at home against Seattle. Patton also has been playing at Round Rock.

No he can not. What's amazing is after ten years they haven't figured that out. What is going on in the FO?

I don't know which unsettles me more about the FO, Kirkman sitting in that bullpen or Wash sitting in that dugout.
