David Murphy is the worst hitter in baseball.
I'm looking forward to him either not being on the team next year or in a significantly reduced role

It's the fact that Wash still puts him in the starting lineup every time against RHP that pisses me off.Can we please just DFA Murphy? I am more patient than most fans, but even I've reached my limit with his complete ineptitude.

To date the season highlight for David Murphy is an inning pitched on June 4.
Mitch Moreland is to blame though for them not scoring there. He has one job to do with a runner on 2nd and 0 outs and that's to hit it to the right side... not that hard to do. If he does his job instead of weakly popping out to CF, Rios scores from 3rd on the deep fly from Profar.
We do not. I don't like arguments based on faulty logic. And we know Profar would have been pitched to the same, how?

I think you fell victim to the fallacy of predetermined outcomes. You really think there is a significant difference in pitching with a runner on 2nd and runner on 3rd?

Faulty logic? It's faulty logic that Moreland failed to do his job? It's faulty logic that Profar wouldn't have had a much better chance of bringing home a guy from 3rd?
