Garza was on to great of a run for a while. He had to regress sooner or later
You said that after one homer that wasn't his fault. I said it after going to 0-2 two batters in a row and not finishing them off and then serving up a meat ball.

You won't be great every start and he's still been ok so far. He has a chance to shut down 2 or 3 more innings and have a very solid start.
70+ pitches to get through 4. If he goes 7+ tonight I will be impressed.Yes even on his off days lately he's gone 7-8 innings with 3-4 runs allowed. This game still ain't over
But first we must solve the mystery of Tyler Thornburg...I don't care if Garza gives up 10 runs. Offense needs to score and do it often.

Offense is going to need to be somewhat more effective against the likes of an Estrada, Oberholtzer and Thornburg, or we are in big trouble...I've said this for a long time that this is how the offense is going to be the rest of the season. They won't be very consistent in scoring a lot of runs but that's ok as long as pitching and defense is there and keeps the team in games.
