He swings at so many pitches out of the strike zone. I think he is getting close to doing some damage

If Marcus Semien could do his job, we would be winning. It’s almost time to consider demoting him. He’s killing this team. .162 from the lead off hitter in the playoffs is unacceptable. I keep thinking talent will eventually win out and he will break out of this nightmare slump. But with every game that passes, it’s that much closer to the end of the season, whether we’re eliminated or we win it all.

He isn’t striking out much, but he isn’t hitting anything hard. At all. We were paying attention last night to his at-bats, and he was just flat-out missing center-center fastballs in hitter’s counts. And he utterly failed on the hit and run. He’s lost.
