One thing about Chapman pitching tonight, that probably means he won't pitch tomorrow.

Tomorrow we have (IMO) our best pitcher starting and not having to face Verlander, so that favors Texas big-time.
Think we win but with a little more offense, 5-2 or 5-3.

Agree what Carter has done for the Rangers and his hustle on offense and defense. A couple guys left out in Taveras who they couldn't get out and Seager for the nice play on Semien's throw.

Leody has made some key plays this postseason.

You just never know what blessings are coming in disguise.
I just wonder if Carter is brought up at all without that injury. I guess we'll never know.

Yes, a great game all around. Even Chapman didn't do that bad.

Just about any team that wins a championship has some good luck along the way. Thankful that Carter made a great play and that it was hit to the part of the field that juts out.

This team has a certain (mental?) edge over their opponents I'm not sure we've ever seen from them. Sharp and disciplined.
It is incredible what they have done so far. I wouldn't be surprised to see a sweep.

Same here. We're just thoroughly dominating our opponents. It's crazy. What do you think is the main reason for it?

The team thru 6 post season games now has only trailed once by 2 runs to the Orioles for a half inning for a total of nine minutes.

1) The postseason has allowed Bochy to shorten the rotation by 1 and, thus, improve the bullpen by 1. It has been huge being able to go to the likes of Heaney, Bradford, and Perez for 2-3 innings instead of spares like Anderson, King, Yerry, etc. Bochy has been able mostly to use starters and Leclerc in the late innings.

2). The lineup got fully healthy just in time and a major added boost from Evan Carter. Jung, Garver, and Carter instead of Smith, Duran, and Jankowski makes a huge difference. We are a lot closer to our first half offense now than we are to that offense we had during our month of horror.
