Chris Young says Adolis Garcia, Josh Jung, Evan Carter, et al, getting better and healthy this offseason is "a bigger upgrade than we can get anywhere else in the industry."

We were given details about Carter and Jung's injuries, so we can understand them getting better. The same can not be said for Adolis. His injuries were a lot more mysterious, for the most part. So, who knows if he is going to be better as a result of being more healthy. Maybe his body is just aging.

I am sure the Diamondbacks and their fans are sick that they barely missed out on the postseason. That is why you should shoot for more than jist a wildcard spot, or at least more than the second or third wildcard spot.

Strive to be the best team in the league and then if a few things go wrong you can at least be a wildcard. And while you are at it, fix the team in the offaeason, and don't count on finishing off building the team at the trade deadline.
