He should be. To pitch 8 innings of one run ball against this team is no easy feat. Now there is a good chance we dont have to worry about the Angels getting into the playoffs. Weaver and Greinke would be a load to deal with

Not just that, but to do it in a true ace's duel where every pitch could be the one that is your undoing. This is as close to a playoff atmosphere as it gets. Darvish is our ace. Plain and simple. He needs to be going in game 1.

Even if the Angels went 10-2 over their last 12 games, the orioles and A's would have to go 6-7 to be caught. Very unlikely scenario
