Posting an article and asking for feedback <> suggesting anything.

That said, from my limited knowledge of the Texas football landscape, I am surprised that A&M popularity, whatever that means, is anywhere close to UT's. But, I do not have sufficient knowledge to make any conclusions or suggest what it may mean.

I'm a little surprised it took 13 post for someone to call out the poll. I was wondering if the numbers were valid as they surprised my preconceived notions.

Its really amazing all the green attire recently being sported in Texas the past few seasons as well. Either aTm and BU have recently been shitting out millions of grads, or the fans finally aren't embarrassed to sport the school colors.

One thing about UT fans is they wear they colors loud and proud, win or lose. In this area, so do the Frogs fans(FTW), although their fan base is obviously very small.

it is a poll of 500 Texans, It was done by phone: that is all that is known. A&M was at 22% and Texas was at 20%.

Here is what most people do not know about the State of Texas and the state of it's football allegances. 50% of all Tech, Baylor, TCU, SMU and Houston fans are Texas fans too. 75% of all UTEP, UTSA, NT, TS and Rice are Texas fans too. These people go to games, buy merchandise and watch on Saturday.

UT owns Texas. A&M might not even be the 2nd most popular team in the State. I believe that would go to OU
