Well, I got around to listing the YPC by team QB, and RB's with a relevant number of carries. I also added in Jacoby Ford for shits and giggles, but I won't count him in the final totals.

RB#1's [will also list Battle for good fun since it was thrown out there]:

MJD- 15 carries for 45 yards (3.0 YPC)

Murray- 12 carries for 25 yards (2.1 YPC)

McCoy- 20 carries for 158 yards (7.6 YPC)

D. Wilson- 13 carries for 55 yards (4.2 YPC)

C. Johnson- 10 carries for 17 yards (1.7 YPC)

J. Battle- 6 carries for 38 yards (6.3 YPC)

D.Mcfadden- 16 carries for 52 yards (3.3 YPC)

QB's

Gabbert- 1 rush for 7 yards (7.0 YPC)

D.Robinson- 2 rushes for 1 yard (.5 YPC)

T. Romo- 2 rushes for 3 yards (1.5 YPC)

M. Vick- 4 rushes for 99 yards (24.8 YPC)

E. Manning- 2 rushes for 12 yards (6.0 YPC)

R.Fitzmagic- 8 rushes for 50 yards (8.3 YPC)

T. Pryor- 7 rushes for 56 yards (8.0 YPC)

Total QB YPC: 8.8 YPC 38 QRY/Game ( Quarterback Rushing Yards)

The Jacoby Ford botched pass run:

1 yard on 1 um... attempt.

Team YPC allowed to each teams RB's [ I will not count QB runs] as a whole ( Will also list pass attempts to better illustrate play selection:

JAX- 3.1 on 20 attempts ( Jax threw the ball 41 times)

Dal- 2.3 on 16 attempts ( Dal passed the ball 42 times)

Phi- 7.2 on 23 attempts ( Phi passed the ball 30 times)

NYG- 4.6 on 19 attempts ( NYG passed the ball 37 times)

Tenn- 3.4 on 16 attempts ( Tenn. passed the ball 41 times)

Oak- 3.2 on 20 attempts ( Oak passed the ball 34 times)

~78 Yards/game to RB's (66% of Yards against)

Final YPC for RB: 4.18 RB YPC RB YPC Total if you exclude McCoy: 3.48

Not sure how to interpret this data as I didn't have the time ( I have other obligations as I post this) as I did not compare the data to the avg, but superficially it doesn't look that bad when you just look at RB's individually which was my contention in the first place anyways. It definitely appears that the Chiefs struggle with QB's scrambling in general.

33% of all rushing yards against the Chiefs have been from QB's ( I am not sure what the league avg is, if someone can point me in the right direction, that would be fantastic)

Call me a homer if you want, but it still appears to me it would be somewhat questionable to say that the Chiefs are vulnerable to RB's. QB's are a different story and can and probably will continue to cause problems unless there is an adjustment to account for them.

Opposing Total Rushing yards Per game: 116 (23rd in the NFL)

I would say overall looking at all of those numbers that would put them about middle of the pack against the run. This Sunday should be a good test as the Texans are top 5 in yards per game and yards per carry and have one of the best 1-2 punches in the NFL.

Didn't Keenum get an extra year to play in college? He should be ready.

QB's yes

Vick and Pryor had several long runs. Can't say for sure, but I call bullshit on the 2nd worst ypc to RB's specifically. I would list them right now were I at my desktop to confirm my guess.

Keenum doesn't have near the foot speed that those two have, but he is also a threat to take off and pick up a first down when the opportunity arises.

If you have been a long time follower of the NFL, you will notice that the football gods have a sense of humor.

It would not surprise me at all if the Texans win this game simply because of the complete chaos it would cause in Houston and how that could entertain the football gods. Whom I still believe have been punishing the Texans all season for the Vanilla Ice halftime show.

Haha, they certainly do know how to throw a monkeywrench into these kind of things. I just hope that isn't Sunday, crap, I am going to that game.
