Good news about this game is that we're at home. Not sure why just feels better than being in Houston. I think we just gotta hope the team that played Dallas doesnt show up but instead the team that played New England. I actually don't have much hope with this game. Texans are riding a 6 game winning streak and even in the losses to Titans and Giants (yes I said Giants) Watson has thrown for over 300 yards. However, we can win if we control the clock and Smith gets a ball to go father than 15 yards in the air, but not feeling good about this game.
Tony Bergstrom- Tony Bergstrom replacing Brandon Scherff at right guard is a gigantic downgrade, and it showed on Sunday. He was the only O-lineman on the Redskins that allowed a pressure and gave up a team-high 4 pressures against Tampa Bay. One those pressures was a sack of Alex Smith on third down.
Bergstrom is the only Washington player who has surrendered four or more pressures in multiple games this year. His 48.8 PFF grade this season ranks 152nd among the 163 qualifying offensive linemen this season.
dean , based on the one time he watched the game and no tape viewing played better then cooper
cooper , by the way surrendered 1 with just 3 days with the team but dean thinks that is awful
that's fine. I didn't right off cooper, I just thought those two holding calls were huge. Of course Cooper has a bigger upside b/c he is younger.
