This kinda explains what I was thinking about earlier during the discussion about conference alignments. Texas has so much money, and so much backing they really don't "need" a conference. Texas doesn't need the SEC, Big 10 or the PAC 12. Texas has the financial backing like no other university, they just want to place themselves somewhere it is best for them.

Hey Starbigd, A&M made a profit of $30 million? How in the hell did they pull that off with all the debt, inability to pay their coaches, etc? I thought there was no money at A&M? That is what all your sources on the internet told you, right?

thats why i just laugh when the homers were screaming we didnt want you anyways stay in your "crappy" conference big 10,pac 12,sec doesnt want you...........every conference would love to have texas and texas has leverage when it is negotiating . pac 12 didnt like the LHN and texas said well we are keeping it and deal fell through

shhhh.....he's on a roll now, don't break his momentum.

They have a 20 million buyout, they have to buyout Sherm's contract, and they have to pay back the 16 million they borrowed. But don't tell him, I'm sure his A&M degree is good for counting numbers on......

You think they live basically paycheck to paycheck? I'm not even sure what $16M keeps getting talked about. You think they spend everything they made from previous season EVERY year? You think there is no war chest? You think there are no payment plans? The $16M, the exit fee, and the Sherman buyout are all due right now?

Yeah, shhhh....don't tell me that I know what I am talking about while you are running around regurgitating every bullshit story you read on such reputable sights as "texags" or whatever the hell it is that you are always "LOL'ing" about.

Nope, some slapdick supposed electrical engineer from some community level college living in Ft Worth knows more about the schools finances than the school themselves, and they have allowed themselves to run up their debt to insurmountable levels.

You are a moron and prove it every time you post. Now tell me what I'm thinking about the SEC move, how silly I am as an "aggy", and how A&M will never win a game in the SEC. Same shit, different day from the T-ship tshirt fan.

im not sure or claim to know, but i will say if they had a war chest i wonder why they had to borrow money from the school for the athletic dept. copy/pasted below

Four years ago, Texas A&M University president Robert Gates and athletics director Bill Byrne agreed that Aggie athletics needed an infusion of cash to improve its competitiveness.

They struck a deal for the athletics department to receive a $16 million line of credit from university funds. The athletics department would have access to that credit for four years and then would have 10 years to repay the money without interest.

LOL - you mad?

First of all, I don't live in Fort Worth.

Second of all, I've never said you have some insurmountable debt.....just that you don't have a ton of cash RIGHT NOW.

Third, I've never said you won't win a game in the SEC.

LOL at your failures.......I mean, you can't discuss anything about your school, because guys like you get your panties all in a twist.

Mad? Nope. I just love pointing how how pathetic you are, and so do the fans of people who bring to light how stupid you are. You realize how many comments and private messages I get when I post something like my above post? People here HATE you and the crap you post. Most of them just ignore you, but there is something about the t-sip tshirt fan that intrigues me. I have never met a Texas ex that posts the kind of crap about A&M that you do. That goes both ways, I haven't met any former Ags that don't have respect for the school in Austin. It's the sad, pathetic, no life t-shirt fans like yourself that sit around drooling over juicy gossip that puts the other school in bad light. It is sad, but poking dumbasses like yourself is just too much fun to pass up. I guess I need help, or more work!

And you are right, you aren't in Ft Worth, no idea where I got that from. Looks like you actually are over off Turtle Creek. That is pretty telling.

Wow. Just wow.

Tell me, what specifically have I posted that has you so worked up?

That A&M doesn't have a ton of cash right now, and some large bills coming due? What exactly about that bothers you THIS MUCH?

I've never seen ONE FAN get his panties so twisted over such an obvious, and innocuous statement such as you.

It's not like I'm out here saying A&M is the worst school on the planet, they can't make a single dollar, they can't get ever compete, etc......I posted what has already been proven to be fact.

I find it pathetic that fans like you continue to talk shit here like I'm out here just destroying your school. I put facts out to be debated......not cried over like a little schoolgirl.

And I don't put your school in a bad light, TEXAS A&M puts Texas A&M in a bad light. They are a division 1 program, making a very big move.

But, per your loser mentality, I suppose you would rather we never discuss A&M, as your used to being irrelevant. I guess news about a D1 program moving to the SEC, and the ramifications of such a move, just isn't worthy of discussion for you.
