I wish they would adopt a rule where you can only call one timeout to freeze the kicker. You can't call back to back timeouts in the NFL. Wish college would adopt that rule.

There's always at least one a year. Like one of the Mississippi teams. When I was in school bama sucked so badly that the iron bowl was at night a good bit

I watched an interview with the kicker from Denver Broncos. He says that when they call a timeout to ice the kicker they try not to kick the ball.
If they do the refs give them a new ball to use on the next try. The guy says using a brand new ball to kick with causes more misses. I didn’t know that.
