How is it figured?

Wonder if the arena in the 'Peg has less upper level cheaper seats available, which would skew the average. Or if they really are just that pricey.

With sitting capacity at only 15,005, the MTS Centre in Winnipeg needs to have those high ticket prices to offset the lack of seats...

I know it's a hockey crazy city but after the SportsHoopla of getting a team back if the teams doesn't win consistently do you think it could be a problem down the road Dash? Those tickets are pretty damn expensive. More expensive than Toronto? Wow also how big is Winnipeg population wise?

Not trying to sidetrack the topic at hand, but what is the appeal of getting glass seats? I want to feel like I'm part of the game, and at these arenas with seamless glass, the glass seats just don't give me that as I can't hear anything on the ice, muchless see only part of it.

I've sat on the glass at TD Garden, I saw everything, guess it all depends on the positioning.

Thanks IPW that's the link I was going to check. This top five makes more sense but I would have thought Philly or the Rangers would be higher than Pittsburgh.

I agree with both of you. IMO I'd rather be a bit higher up it seems you get a better view of everything.

Gotta be an average. I kinow NJ has tickets well over $200 between the blue lines lower bowl and I know teh rag$ & Flyers have much more expensive tiks too.

Actually the source isn't Fox News it says....Check out which hockey teams charge the most per game ticket, according to search engine SeatGeek.com.


The link IPW posted does say average ticket prices.
