I truly believe LSU football would have been viewed differently had he actually coached at LSU. We wouldn't have had to deal with drunk Mike Archer and possibly not Dinardo either.

With how much it was that Ohio State has dominated the Big 10 since the inception of the BCS, you would have expected them to have more than one trip there. Even if you take out the three National Championship games people ARE still calling it the Big 1 little 9.

The other things are great, but in years when they are out of reach (meaning most years) The conference and Michigan are big deal. And even if they do win a natty, if they do it while losing to Michigan, there will still be a lot of sting.

So don't pretend that the only thing that matters is a national ranking.

Who ever said beating MI was not important? You seem to have read a lot that was not there. For instance say last year tOSU won the NC. Do you think they would care about not winning the B1G? This fan say no, would not give a rats ass.
