I get AppleTV+ for free so I watched and enjoyed. Sudekis stands out as a really good character. Not sure if the other actors, and writing for them, can carry it to a 2nd season, though. The lines for Sudekis are comedy gold though.

I just finished the season. LOVED IT! SUDEKIS CERTAINLY MADE THE SHOW FOR SURE!!

I honestly can say I didn't see that ending happening (I know I should have). So that is easily a set up for next season, no?

I think I know the "her" you are referring to. I would say yes, but it won't last long and will be one of the early storyline arches for next season.

hmm, not sure if I caught that, but I am super excited to see what is in store for us next season. The writing, directing, and acting on that show is top notch and it's fucked up that we now have to wait an extended period of time to see another episode.

I am watching this now. I haven’t read this thread yet because I haven’t finished yet and want to avoid spoilers. I just saw the episode where they got the big win against Liverpool.

I have 2 primary thoughts so far...

1) It strikes me as an updated version of 1st and Ten. Anyone who has t seen that show, it was an early 80s HBO series about an LA pro football team staring OJ Simpson as the teams ex-superstar GM.

2) I legit like EVERY character on this show. I enjoy watching it because I am genuinely rooting for EVERYONE. I compare it to a movie like Uncut Gems, and I have a hard time believing they are both in the same industry. I couldn’t imagine two shows being more different. I have not heard anyone compare the two, mind you. I just can’t help but compare the two because the sheer chasm between the two.
