This ^^^ This is just Tebow over Barkley, nothing more. At best he'll be the #3 guy on the depth chart due to gimmick play ability "if" by chance he were to make the roster. If any team is down to their #3 QB you're likely playing for a draft pick anyhoo.

The TE discussion is always laughable. I don't know if Tebow has ever caught a pass or done much in the way of blocking. What he has done with mixed success is pass the ball and what he has spent countless hours over the last two years working on is passing the ball.

He will now get the chance to show that he has developed that skill. Ultimately, I think if he makes this team it will be as a special teamer/3rd string QB.

Yeah, the changing positions thing isn't happening. There's boatloads of prospects every year who are bigger than Tebow, run just as fast or faster, know how to block, run routes and catch the ball. QB and TE are two totally unrelated animals ... just because he's an athletic QB doesn't mean he can play a lick of TE aside from some gimmick play. Tebow's here because he would be harder for opponents to prepare for than Barkley if disaster hits and the Eagles lose both Bradford and Sanchez. Plus Chip can design a few plays for him in certain packages ... again, more than Barkley can offer.
