I'm in a 2-TE (12 team) league. The trade of Tim Wright suggest that Wright may be used like Aaron Hernandez. It may also suggest that TB rookie Seferian-Jenkins gets more looks.

I already have Rudolph and Cook as my TE starters, with sleeper Richard Rodgers on the bench.

Does Wright or S-J seem like they have more upside than Rodgers?

Splitting hairs in my book, but if it were me, I guess I'd want a TE in a team which had been exceptional getting production from that position in recent history, NE.. Over one which has been little more than a cocktease at the position. .GB..

Forgive me, but the question for me would be Cook or ASJ. I like Wright later in the season and Rodgers early in the season. Probably take the unknown of ASJ over the consistent disappointment of Cook (aside from his huge week last year, and previous alike years), what has he done?

Thanks guys. To TKO's point: Cook may not excite anyone, but for a disappointing season, he did quietly finish 11th last season (although much of that was week 1). Just goes to show the huge drop-off from the top-ranked TE to the oblivion of mediocrity.

That surprises me that he finished 11th... but yeah, it's a mark on the badness of the low TE's. 24 points in week 1, 9 and 14 two other weeks..... every other week was 4 or less. The year before he had less yards and TD. I'm taking the unknown upside over that.

I'm liking Wright, thought he would beat out ASJ until the trade. Sounds like he can't block but either could Hernandez which is why they'll let Gronk block and use Wright like Hernandez. He put up some good numbers on the field towards the end of the season last year for the Bucs. Might take him a couple weeks to get playbook down in New England but now he'll have Brady throwing to him instead of rookie Glennon.

I think Wright could be a better play early if they want to limit Gronks snaps a little. I'm not a huge fan of Cook, but rookie TEs aren't exactly fantasy gold. Not a good strategy to rely on one, but to take a flier on??? Sure why not...

Well, I'm more excited that the Bucks are at least trying to beef up their run blocking...........if I had the roster space I might take a shot with him over Rodgers or Cook.............

I would take a shot on him. But I think he's going to be really over drafted after the trade to the Pats. So I doubt I have him on any of my last 3 teams to draft.

So slightly off topic, does anyone else get the feeling the Pats are going more pass happy the year? I didn't fully understand why they let Blount go, considering the lack of goalline back with sure hands. Then the trade for Wright really has me thinking this way. BTW, just drafted Tom Terrific tonight over Matt Ryan and this was the deciding factor.
