Tdog's Week 1 Game Thoughts

I thought Kirk Cousins had supposedly learned from his interception mistakes but apparently I can clearly see he didn't, Kirk Cousins first INT was on him, but the second INT was actually just a great play by the Dolphins defensive back!!

Some positives I thought Brandon Schreff and Morgan Moses held their own against 2 of Miami's best DL guys.

And of course Alfred Morris is a beast!!

I see special teams is still a problem we had a missed FG and we gave up a punt return for a TD!!

The 2nd half was a disaster too many penalties and mistakes!!

Lastly I don't want to see Andre butterfinger Roberts he sucks almost every time I watch he is always dropping passes, I think someone better go in front of the jug machine and learn how to catch..he is a big disappointment since we signed him.

I was surprised that Trent was brought in at FS and they moved Goldson to SS when Nacho went down. What's going on with Johnson?

T-dog... actually both of Kirks INTs were just good plays by the defense. Kirk threw the ball on time on the first INT, the DB just made a damn smart read and broke on the ball. Partly due to the play design and partly to one of the WRs not selling the route, the DB was in position to break on the ball. The second INT was just a DB playing superb coverage and making a play.

IN retrospect on the whole game, what killed us was the special teams gaffunder. The defense wasnt light s out, but they were over all very solid. Health on that side of the ball is going to be a constant battle how ever. Will be interesting to see who gets released this week to activate Breeland, because I have to admit Amerson has become a liability.

This surprised me as well. Not sure which offers the better STs offset ( thought Jeron was suppose to bring something on STs but haven't really seen any news on that front) and wonder if that was part of the reason.

What gets me is that he was brought in here to be the starter. Maybe the injures just put him behind the 8 ball. We are going to miss Nacho.

I just learned that Reed made a major goof on the 4th down play. You have to know what you are doing in that situation. What the frig. He has a ton of athletic ability but mentally he is just not there. This guy is not a rookie he should know that you have to cross the defenders face in that situation.

That's because one of his drops was actually a fumble as it was a backward pass. Those aren't considered drops.
