arrested for DWI last night, suspended indefinitely.

No link as I'm in a hurry. Just wanted to drop this off here.

Good luck beating Iowa State now.

their defense is going to have to step up for this one

TCU needs to win this game, if they win it they could still have a good season, if not their season is going to spiral off into a disaster.

I watched a rerun of the TCU-SMU game from last week. Not that impressed with TCU. Garrett Gilbert helped TCU the most with all the interceptions he threw and his inability to feel pressure from either side when attempting to pass. A better QB might have won that game for SMU.

I think there is more to it, like this is his third strike or something. Didn't he get caught up in the drug bust on campus last year/over summer?

TCU didn't look impressive against Kansas either. IF KU had any offense at all KU would have won that game. Three times TCU turned the ball over inside the red zone. But then some of that can be credited to KU, their defense has improved some this year.

That's probably a reward rather than punishment......

They wanted to give him enough time to smoke it all

I'm more shocked that our offensive coordinator, Dave Yost, wasn't smoking with them.

No they didn't. They haven't loooked good yet this year. They're starting 13 freshman. I knew there would be some pains in starting so many young kids, what I didn't expect was all the sloppy play they have show thus far. It's not like any patterson team to date.

Nope, there's no more to it. Patterson has consistently kicked players off the team who shed a negative light on the university. The team was told after the drug bust that no infractions would be tolerated, ZERO.

Pachall acted like an idiot, and Patterson dealth with him. It will cost the team a chance at a good season, but he stuck to his guns. Patterson doesn't screw around.

As for getting caught up in the drug bust, Pachall's room mate was one of the guys that got busted. Pachall also admitted to the cops that he had taken drugs before. This is the part that got splattered all over the news.

Zero tolerance? Patterson? Maybe you have him confused with a tough coach that doesnt take crap, but he's not that guy.

Paschall is suspended, but will be suited up to play this saturday. He may not play, but he'll be READY to play. Patterson isn't nearly as tough as you'd like to believe he is.
