Think every BSU fan will/should be a UW fan at least this coming year. If Petersen falls flat on his face no BSU fan will EVER hear the end of it (as if they do now anyway). The "See, Petersen was only good at a podunk mid-major and BSU would fail at the major level" would simply be unstoppable. The flood gates would open.


Don't really have many favorites across the college world. It's more about just wanting to see top flight teams going at it.

That said I guess I kind of have to put Penn St at the top of the B1G now that my son is attending there.

Maybe LSU for the SEC.

I always liked Nebraska, but kid in a rival school trumps that.

I like Washington. As a West coast guy, I like all of the Pac teams with the exception of U of Gay. I'm an ASU alum. That's why I put the Devils in there.

And I agree with you about Petersen in the event that he falls flat. I wish him all the best, no ill will on this side of the table. It was his time. He sure did a lot for our program and I love the man for it. The dude is all class. Enjoy having the privilege of having him as your coach, Wiz. He'll succeed. Just you watch.

They've had more success than Oklahoma the past 3-4 years.

As of right now, that makes them better.

And the Chokelahoma label fits perfectly for Bob Oops and CO. Oklahoma is always overrated in the pre-season and never lives up to expectations usually because of some choke job against an unranked team or heavy underdog. It's been this way ever since they won the title back in 03 i believe.

I don't get the love for Baylor. Art Briles is a thug, he recruits thugs, and they've had one really good season.

It's partly because they've sucked so bad for so long. People like to see the downtrodden overcome adversity, unless it's ethnic minorities.
