Crosby gets away with late hits, picks and butt-ending guys all the time. He once went 3rd man into a fight and got not even a dirty look from the ref. "Skill" guys sneak dirty stuff all the time and aren't penalized- Alex Ovechkin, Martin St. Louis, etc.

Maybe I'm just trying to talk myself into believing, but last year our two wins were close, fairly even games that we pulled out (from what I remember at least). This year, we've thoroughly outplayed them for 5 straight periods.

Going to be pumped/nervous today. I wish the weather wasn't too be so shitty beforehand, though.

There are some distinct differences between this team and last year's beyond the stretching out you mentioned.
- Potential game breakers on top 3 lines
- 9 goals from 9 different guys
- 4 actual lines we can roll in any situation
- Players have committed to the system.
- If Bolts remove their goalie, they don't have Holtby to replace him with
