Talib is now a Bronco. Who do we go after now? Do we make a push at Revis or what?

That's disappointing.

Considering that options are falling fast, I'd be down for a play at Revis. I'm not willing to go much higher than Talib got, though.

Captain munnerlyn from Carolina is probably a cheaper, young, and definitely respectable free agent option I could live with. I don't mind Dennard Ryan, but one more decent option over Arrington would be huge.

Good move for Broncos but that is a lot of money for someone that is one joint away from 8 game ban. I wish him the best but I would not pay him that much but I figured someone would when I saw the stupid money being spent.

LOL I knew it shit I said it. New England Patriots + Quality CB + New Contract = Goodbye. I am not at all surprised by this.

Broncos really overpaid but it is a backloaded contract. One more groin issue and he'll be gone from Denver.

Will Wes and Talib practice against each other?

Well couldn't the Pats have backloaded a contract? I am really really starting to question BB as a GM

Revis is and will not be a Patriot. He won't be traded and that's the only way the Patriots would have gotten him imo. Because BB and Kraft are cheap as all hell right now and would not pay the price Revis will command once he is released.

He didn't get overpaid. That was exactly where we've known his market was. The only reason I can stomach this is because Talib hasn't stayed healthy.

Which could also mean he is due for a healthy season. Remember how everyone use to scream about how Fragile Stafford was? This is a bid loss IMO I can't recall one person on this board or anywhere else stating Talib was not the number 1 priority in the offseason. As fans we have no choice but to accept it and move on but IMO it's typical low ball antics

I wanted him back. I've made that clear.

But "due"? That's just not real. The only reason I can stomach this at all is because Talib is hurt consistently, and I still don't like it. This does leave them with the space to make a move still, so I really hope they capitalize. Options are fading fast.

That guy they wanted from Tenn is gone. I really am wondering if BB plans to put Duron Harmon at CB or Ryan Logan. Maybe he sees something in them I don't know!!!!!!!

I would have liked verner.

Logan Ryan has been pretty good at corner in the chances he's gotten. Dennard's going to have to step up and be number one. I think our depth is hurting some, but I think Ryan and dennard can step up. Arrington's not special but he's not awful as a third corner either. If we spend that money on pressure instead I think we can still put ourselves into decent position.

Harmon is a big guy 6' 1" 205 I am more interested in him.

Revis to NE? That would be probably a good move since they have taken former Bucs (Talib & Blount)castoffs and had success with them.

Harmon's a safety.

He is listed as a safety but he looks pretty agile and quick footed to me. Even if he can play SS at this level I would be happy I am content with McCourty at FS.

That's his position. He played SS almost exclusively last year.

All of Talibs injuries have been hip injuries, if I recall. They aree not freak unrelated injuries that one can say he is "due" for a healthy season. He is one hit away form missing a few games, one hit away from IR.
For $26M garraunteed, I would have let him go.
Glad someone overpaid him, glad it was not the Pats.

I think a lot of Pats fans are justifying the loss. JMHO
