Holy shit. Already projected preseason #23 for next year.

Rothstein | Way-too-early CBB Top 25 for 2018-19

And Tom Dienhart has us finishing 3rd in conference next year.

Dienhart: Way-too-early look at 2018-19 Big Ten standings

That all sounds asinine to me. Maybe it's just called being a Nebrasketball fan. I'm in "show me" mode for the foreseeable future.

They’re assuming we have everybody back.

If we have all the pieces back it’s scary how much hype this team will have.

I would prefer not to have the preseason hype

^^^^^ That is really really bad.

If we lose Palmer or Copeland now this upcoming season has a lot of bad mojo coming with it.

No we stay the course Right Jay because it takes years to build up a program and who could we get anyhow?

We could get another up and comer. Is that what you want?

If we had a billion dollars and unlimited blowjobs to offer Jay Wright he wouldn’t come here because his brain functions too well. He’s too intelligent.

It’s quite simple HP.....

As Bill Moos feels, if Nebraska returns all of it’s starters, next season should be a break-through year.

Fire your head coach now and you lose the whole staff, half of your roster leaves or transfers, and you’re starting from the absolute very bottom of the barrel.

You have to see it from a sane man’s point of view too. Moos has an important job. It’s not as easy as pressing buttons and making knee-jerk reactions. He has to look ahead. He has to try to predict what might happen. He kept Miles for a reason.

No worries HP. Your time will come to tell JJM "I told you so". Maybe as early as 2019.
As the Big 10 gets back to playing good basketball it's inevitable that Nebrasketball will be back to #8 or lower in the final standings.
The experts were not wrong in leaving the Huskers out of the big dance. However, they were wrong in seeding them too high in the NIT.

So we are hinging on the fact that MAYBE some players return and our best recruit just left for greener pastures. What I am saying is get a coach that can not only keep players here but improve the roster with players that he can recruit.

We could get another up and comer. Is that what you want?

Have I not been screaming from the rooftops that I want a proven coach?!!

Fire your head coach now and you lose the whole staff, half of your roster leaves or transfers, and you’re starting from the absolute very bottom of the barrel.

Our best recruiter just left. Our best recruit just left. and we have no Idea what Roby, Copeland, Palmer are going to do. My money is on them leaving for literally anywhere else, because is is a improvement, ANY SCHOOL YOU CHOOSE IS BETTER THEN STAYING AT THIS DUMPSTER FIRE. Ok so I will move on from Jay Wright and I will pick another coach and see what you think.

Eric Musselman. That's our guy! 2mill a year. 81–28 (.743)

The Nevada Wolf Pack got one heck of a deal in landing former NBA head coach Eric Musselman. The two sides agreed to a five-year contract worth a total of $2 million, and the base annual salary is $300,000 per year with rest made up of media appearances.

Any Huskers fans in here that don't live in Nebraska? If so Comcast/Xfinity recently cancelled BTN in states that don't have conference teams.

I would just shut off Comcast and get a ROKU or other streaming device with PlayStation Vue. PS Vue has a great sports line-up that includes BTN.

I shit-canned Cox cable here in Omaha and use PlayStation Vue with an over the air digital antenna for local channels ABC, CBS, NBC, etc.

I don't know what ROKU is & I don't have a Playstation Vue. DirectTV carries BTN. But I'm gonna wait a few months in hopes that Comcast changes their mind & picks the station back up.

ROKU is a streaming stick you plug into an HDMI port on your TV. It runs off of your Wi-Fi. They cost about $40 new.
PlayStation Vue is just one of many streaming services it offers. You don't have to have a PlayStation to watch PlayStation Vue.

Thanks for the info. I don't want to miss my Ohio State games.
