I hope that wasn't directed at me? I'm not advocating for the retention of Miles. He has been underachieving long enough for me. I just don't think he can be canned after this year for cosmetic reasons. It would reflect badly on the program. From a coaching search standpoint to recruiting. You can almost guarantee that next season will be a bust, based on history. Save face for the program and wait until then to cut him loose. Yeah it sucks. But, IMHO, it would be better in the long run.

Altman didn't even make the dance this season and he's got brand new digs too. I will agree he's a better corch than sMiles, but inconsistent.

I don't know that I'd consider him inconsistent. I guess it depends on the measuring stick used. He's had Oregon in the Big tournament 5 times in 8 years with a sweet 16 and an Elite 8 finish in addition to the final four last year. He's won 2 PAC regular season titles and 2 PAC tournament titles, finished twice a couple more. Won more than 2/3 of his games there.

I'd take that kind of inconsistency in Lincoln anytime.

I really like Dana, in case you can't tell.

Wouldn't have a problem with Palmer leaving. I think it'd be a huge mistake for Copeland though. Doesn't handle the ball well enough to be a 3 doesn't have the body to be a 4.

Copeland will have his degree early and has battled with back injuries in the past.

He’d be the more likely of the 2 to leave and it would be to play overseas. If he comes back then he surely means business as he could easily forget this gamble and go make decent money in Europe.
