Trying to find reasons to feel good about the season that just ended. Probably the worst way possible to end the year. That's an average basketball team and I don't think you can argue that anymore. In a normal B1G conference year that Husker team probably finishes 7th or 8th at best. About the only advantage Nebraska has/had is playing at home in the PBA. And now we sit and wait to see who is leaving.
I am hearing Moos has reached out to Lue and Altman... Take it for what it's worth.
I mean I have no doubt Lue is an incredible basketball coach but is he really good X's and O's guy to give you a good Splash hire for recruiting. But I think Altman gives you a better Fighting Chance when it's down and dirty and you need some plays drawn up and in-game adjustments I don't know how much LeBron carries Lue I'm assuming it's quite a bit. And let's face it the life expectancy of a really good NBA coach is is always 1 year.
Oh man I was really hoping you wowwo bring something to the table. But it's gaphappen it Lue. And all the 5 stars are going to come running
I just don't see how you can fire a coach after a 22 win season and 4th place finish in the conference. And all that with a practically new roster.
Probably. But you still can't fire a 22 win, 4th place coach. And we'll have a practically new roster next year and the next year and the next year and the next year
Probably. But you still can't fire a 22 win, 4th place coach.
Never gonna happen. The school got a bad rap for firing a 9 win football coach, at a football blueblood program with high expectations. The place would take a beating for firing a coach who won 22 games, and at a school where basketball is an after thought.Bullshit Tom. Write the check and bring in Calipari and let’s get Nebraska Basketball back to what it never has been. I’m tired of waiting!
