So Cooley has us taking him and in his film breakdown the other day he said he was a future Pro Bowler.

JJ says he's a better athlete than him. Think about that. These Watt's don't quit. Whoever gets him is getting a winner.

I'm not sold, but what do I know. I just don't want this team to blow the pick.

Everyone talks like he's not that good of an athlete, but he ran a 4.69 at the combine with a 37 inch vertical, did well in the other drills, 6'4/6'5 252 with the frame to look like Kerrigan's twin, 2nd team All-American, has the proverbial non-stop motor. I don't think he's much of a stretch at 17.

Depending on who else is still on the board, he isnt a stretch.

After much thought, and being honest with myself, my wishlist @17 goes like this.

1. Joe Mixon RB Oklahoma
2. Rueben Foster MLB Alabama
3. Dalvin Cook RB Florida St.
4. Haasan Reddick MLB Temple
5. Christian McCaffrey RB Stanforder
6. John Ross WR Washington
7. Forrest Lamp G Western Kentucky
8. Jarrad Davis MLB Florida
9. Derek Barnett OLB Tennessee
10. T.J. Watt, Jabrill Peppers, or Obi Melifonwu

I listened to Cooley's mock this morning. He has the Skins trading the 17 to the Giants, getting a 3rd and drafting Watt at No. 23. I think there is a little man love going on there.

The intriguing thing to me about Watt is his bloodline. I like Bennett though.

Well you know Watt's gonna put the work in and pick JJ's brain. Almost positive he will be a model citizen off the field. I just hope his last name isn't the reason he's going 15 to 25 and not 35 to 45.

Cooley is full of BS and no way we trade anything with the Gnats!

I could see us trading with any team. At the end of the day its bidnezz after all. But I dont see the Giants doing us any favors in any kind of trade deal. So if it was us wanting to trade down so we could take a guy and get him a little cheaper, not going to happen. If the Giants felt they needed to trade OVER some one at 18-20 to get the guy they want, they might consider it.

Just poking fun at the "JJ Watts a winner" crowd

I didn't mean it that way. I meant a good pick, that won't just be there to get a paycheck.

Oh, and last I checked JJ is on a team. Takes more than one guy. But yeah, a 3X DPOTY is a loser.

Just saying I think jj works as hard on his image as he does on being a good football player. There's hundreds of hard working football players.

That first sentence sounds way too cynical. I mean, the guy is the best defensive player in football when healthy, and you're calling him "good". And it sounds like you're implying that when he does good things off the field - it's just to help his image.

If we could steal Conley in the third, I'd be a happy man. I really don't think he did that. She's already lied about where she first met him. Poor judgment to a rapist is a big leap.

Certainly i didn't mean to be cynical of him as a player. When healthy he's probably the best player in the league.

And I'm sure he does work very hard. But I think he's also obsessed with making sure people know he's working hard. He's obsessed with his image imo and i think it's annoying.
