Fed toyed with his opponent today! So did Nadal. This is building up to be another great potential encounter between the two. Fed has to get through Nishikoru first and Nadal needs to down Querrey.

Their last wimbledon matchup was at both their peaks. Back in 2008 about 11 years ago. Hard to tell who’s going to win because Nadal is dangerous in the second week at Wimbledon and Fed is playing well.

It’s important for Fed to win the first set. Especially against Nadal. Also seize every break point. He’s been loose on break chances and also blowing 15-40 and 0-30 points. He needs to focus more on those.

Fedal 40th edition is on. Fed won the first set by tiebreak. Looks like there is a stop in play because scoreboard is not moving.

Fed won in four sets. I was expecting this to go the distance but he still has the edge over Nadal even in this slower grass surface that was introduced after the Sampras era. Only difference is the ball stays a little bit lower than Roland Garros and Nadal can’t exploit the backhands of his opponents as much. Both men won in four sets so the final should be interesting.

He has always been capable of beating both Nadal and Nole when his game is on. A lot of people believe that 100 Nole will always trump 100 Fed but proved that wrong by getting to two consecutive match points on his serve. Blowing them both is almost like gift wrapping the victory to Djokovic.
