Should be an interesting matchup: "smashmouth clutch and grab" vs "Peyton can throw it to one of 5 guys on any play". It has implications for the Niners as well, as Harbs is definitely a smash-mouth guy.
Personally, I think the aerial circus works better as you can be more resilient: get a big lead and give up points but still win or vice versa, get down a fair bit and still come back. Harbs and smash-mouth always leads to close games that can turn on a tipped pass or a missed field goal. We could have easily lost at GB or Carolina, just one play could have done it. On the other hand, the Broncs got up fairly good on NE and forced NE to take chances and they failed. We on the other hand kept it close, and lost on one tipped ball. Give me Walsh-ball and 45 points versus Gore up the gut.
