Heard Schefer on the radio today and when he visited the Chiefs he said they were incredibly confident and it was more than usual than what he's experienced.

I tend to think bulletin board material is overrated because once you're on the field it's about the play calling and execution and you're not thinking about anything outside of that. However I don't discount that it does have some impact because I do think it does add that little extra motivation and focus on your preparation and I believe it ups your physicality a notch because your determination is a little higher to not just win but to prove people wrong in the process.

So basically it's not as big of a deal as the media makes it out to be but it definitely doesn't help your team at all.

Boasting is one thing, but all that matters when it's all said and done is which team does the toasting.

All star games and awards ceremonies.

I've been saying this for years. Just give them a trophy and be done with it.

And as for the MLB, use a pitching machine and let's save some arms.

I have never really cared for the "All Star" game in any format.

Baseball aside from turning tricky double plays and such is likely the sport that suits itself best to an all star format.

Yer not wrong.

But if I'm a manager on a team with a shot at the post season I'd be cringing if my ace was wasting throws in a game that doesn't have any real bearing on my post season. There are a limited number of throws in a pitching arm.

It's only baseball.... I don't fuss about it.

Viusally it was stunning.

Musically eh... not so much for me.

Yeah I get that. As a mainly Classic Rock listener musically it was lack luster. But for an overall entertainment aspect I loved it. The dance was amazing, the visual effects of the stage, the lights, smoke it had sex appeal it was IMO what it was supposed to be.

I hate that the NFL feels we need a halftime show.

Mehh I am okay with it, people that attend pay a shit load of money for those tickets I see value in it. It's like when you bust a nut in your ladies mouth and she keeps working it for a second nut.
