Actually, the conspiracy theory is that Goodell wants to create a generation of Rams fans, and so this result is what Goodell wants.
I haven't kept up on it, but I thought there was something like Kroenke agreeing to pay a certain amount for the st Louis settlement, and then completely pulling out and saying the other owners should have to split the bill with him? Or something like that?

That's gotta be one of the great WR seasons of all time, right? Between the regular season and the playoffs I am not sure you can find many that are better.
I think it is the greatest season ever by a WR, and ever Jerry Rice would have to agree.

Not bringing the totally legit “different era” argument into it. While legit, it is a tired argument.

I guess people can stop making Rams score 3 points in the Super Bowl jokes

Agreed. I think Larry Fitzgerald's 08 season is the only one I can think of close to it but he didn't get the ring or SB MVP.

Now that I think of it, where were these defensive holding and pass interference calls for Kap and Crabtree in the Super Bowl? Niners' luck the last 10 years has been the complete opposite of the 1980's Niners.

Yeah, Rice in 88 was great too but his regular season that year wasn't as good as Kupp's even with the eras.Imo, at least.

OPI on Kittle was brutal. But you have to move on. Regardless of that call, the Niners still collapsed in the 4th. And that is a habit they are getting really good at now.

Sean McVay looked like a flash-in-the-pan after the loss to the Patriots, and the bad season after that. Took a gamble on Staff, it paid off. Picked up all these FA's, great play-caller. Guy is the best coach right now, unless and until I see further evidence.

Yeah he pulled some good strings, he went all in… Rams are gonna struggle a bit after this missing on draft picks, but if you have a window it made sense to dive all in …

Happy that Kupp won the MVP because the dude should have been the NFL MVP, but those voters are cowards and always vote for QBs. You can't tell me that dude wasn't the best player on the field all season. Matthew Stafford should buy that man a house.

Never been much of a fan of Odell, but I felt bad for him this game. Glad the Rams won because that would have been a cruel way for a game to go.

And was it just me or was Al Michaels/Chris Collingsworth call to end the game really low energy? It's the end of the Super Bowl in a tight game and they called it like it was 4th down of the 2nd quarter in week 7.

Lastly, I need me one of those little Pegasus horses from that ad with Arnold as Zeus. That thing is cute as fuck
