I've been living on New Belgium Somersault and Sierra Nevada Summerfest for a month and a half now. Any suggestions on something new?

i've always liked the Sam Adams Summer Ale

not a summer seasonal, but if you like new belgium and somewhat hoppy beers, you should try Shift, very tasty

bell's oberon

Definitely Bell's Oberon Ale. I know you said Summer Seasonals, but I usually opt for Wheat beers like Hefeweizens and Witbiers for the Summer. Shameless plug, but I review beers on youtube for fun. I'll post a link to a review in the future.

Cheers!

Are you still in Virginia?

According to their website, they distribute to VA.

Here it is:

Bell's Brewery, Inc. :: Brand Finder

Of course every store that distributes around here would have to be on the other fucking side of town. Thats aight. At least now I know where to go next time I am over that way. Thanks Arsenal!

All of that empty space, and then Arizona gets Bell's.

As an Arizona resident and a fan of Bell's, that makes me smile. :)

Finally went to a local bar that had Bell's Oberon last night. VERY nice wheat beer..much better than most I have had (most are kinda bland IMO). Also had Bell's Two-hearted IPA, BBC Brown Ale, and Arrogant Bastard Ale (for the first time). Alot of very good beers there!

Nice. Were any of those beers you tried off the tap?

Yep, They were all off the tap. They have about 50 craft beers on tap there. Will go back soon and try some more..

Draught can lose a ton for a number of reasons. I find cans are closer to representative of the actual beer.

Don't think bottles are good. They're all light-struck (what people refer to when they say "skunky"). Cans are the way to go.

Sorry to beer geek out.
