Well I hope it's not taken too seriously...I mean everytime one of these guys runs any of my rosters through fantasy pros or whatever, I'm generally on the bottom, and im seemingly always either in the playoffs or in contention .

Beauty, eye of the beholder, one man's trash/treasure, all that jazz.

As to Swift Williams, it really doesn't matter too much as the overall point being was they have a damned near dead even split in usage in the run game, and without the PPR bump, all those other RB's who are used more around 66% or higher in their backfield, imho, would have been more preferable. But again..that's just my thoughts, and you know just as well as everyone else on this board, I'm wrong at least as often, if not more often, than anyone else :)
I'm just bored this morning
cripes no i love the critique or (insight as a better term)

Qb- Burrow
Rb D cook
Rb L. Fournette
Wr Higgin

Wr M. Thomas/M. Brown
Te M Andrews
.dst Buff

T mightve gotten the biggest QB steal in the draft. Burrows looks to join Mahommes/Allen/Herbert/Brady/Rodgers amongst that elite category, and he was one of the last to take a QB.
RB's are solid, so long as Lenny holds onto the job, and he should, competition is thin.
WR's, rock solid, although D. Johnson does have QB concerns, and Thomas has no timetable in his injury return, but the quick pick of Hollywood shores up some of that.
Andrews was the best TE in fantasy last year, can't argue with that.
And Buffalo, great D,

Outside of Thomas being injured since like forever ago, and still undetermined on return..there nothing to complain about

Grade A-

I'm just here to point out logical fallacies

Ekeler - worried about day 3 pick Spiller cutting into his workload cause Spiller was one of the top 3-5 RBs pre-draft

Fournette - facing thin competition should hold the job, but TB drafted the top rated receiving back in this year's class on day 2

Kamara, here our first issue. You cant do what he did, on camera, and not get suspended. Only question is for how long. But backed up nicely with the Aaron Jones pick, which could be a RB1for half the rosters.
Reek, McLaurin and Cooper. Even giving Reek a huge knock for going from Mahommes to Tua, that's still 3 WR1's. Cooper will need Watson to play, but Brisett will find him as he's the only WR on that team that can beat any cover corner in the league and he will get open.
TE Dalton Schultz - this dude may be the most over paid guy in the league relative to what he truly brings to the table. But Dallas uses him, and he gets numbers.

Top rated receiving backs rarely vulture TD's from other receiving backs, let alone backs that can receive and are bigger banger backs themselves

bigger bangers, early down backs, regardless of rankings or expectations, can, and do.

Only thing Lenny has to worry about is a few third downs from time to time, no one is vulturing TD's from him

And..TB has nothing invested in Lenny past '22, they can use and abuse him as much as they want/need, Chargers have some future to try and protect

That's an apples to oranges comparison, so it doesn't surprise me that the equation doesn't balance

Guess you haven't seen Ekeler's red zone usage since MGIII left, they aren't taking him out in those situations if they are trying to win football games

This is starting to eerily look like another KeShawn Vaughn love affair with all this Spiller hype, rookie fever to the max. Just cause they were drafted doesn't mean they are getting the valuable touches over proven studs in key situations. If that was in LACs plans, they wouldn't have waited until day 3 to get a RB

Was kind of surprised no one grabbed the Rams. Especially after signing Donald.
But their defensive schedule is pretty brutal, playing against some strong offenses.

Yup. They were my plan a. But when I saw their schedule and that they were facing the Bucs(my first pick) I realized they were not going to help me much. Maybe the 1 game they had vs Seattle. But it was only one game.

I’ll admit. If I wasn’t SET IN STONE that I was going with the zeroish rb strategy. I would have never picked brown there. I think he was a bit of a reach. Same thing with pitts. But I may have done the pitts move in a normal draft in the 4th round. Don’t hate that. But brown in the third is something I would pass on.

But ultimately the point of the zeroish rb strategy is that I have 6 backs to pick from. So I can afford to miss on one or two of them. And play matchups week to week. I will also admit that my 5th and 6th back are weaker than I intended. But had to go elsewhere a few times to get somethings I wanted.

All in all I don’t think I executed the strategy great. But i don’t think I would have changed any of my top 7 picks. Including hall, but that was my homer pick.

Assuming zero injuries, this roster is nearly A+, but given the format, and the pure reality of what Barkley and CMAC have undergone lately, and even Lamar...its likely to be pretty rough going.
Lamar is great when healthy, he's started showing chinks in the durability area though.
CMAC, Barkely- when healthy, those two could dominate for you, every week. But will they? Given this format, it's a huge risk
WR's are all decent or better. Really like Adams, even with Carr I expect him to be top 5. Mooney is suspect, but I'm on board. And JuJu is either gonna be great, or just plain suck.
Kittle=stud, nuff said
Dallas needs to replace Gregory or they're hosed. If they did find a suitable replacement, and Parson can return to LB..they could be a sack/turnover machine, even if they do give up a ton of points.

Grade- C. It's all on CMAC and Barkley. Any other format likely much higher, but here, they are just very risky

No, I have, certainly. I've also watched him miss a huge chunk of time, and then they put 300 touches on his shoulders last year, 100+ more than hed ever had in a year. So it might be in his, and the Chargers, best interests, long term, to adjust that...thus drafting a bigger back to use.

This day 3 stigma might be giving you tunnel vision. If a guy can gain 3-4 yards between the tackles, that may be good enough to do what they want, but that doesn't necessarily mean he's worth a higher valued pick as he obviously had other deficiencies. He fits a role they need filled (if they want to ease Ekelers load), regardless of where they drafted him. If they don't want to ease that load, then I'm wrong, I misread the situation, and they're totally fine burning Ekeler out

Mixon, pure stud
Conners, has truly shocked me. Can he stay healthy two years? I dunno. Was smart to grab another viable RB early in CPAT.
Deebo, assuming his situation gets ironed out, along with Cooks and Theilen= a very solid trio. I am no fan of Cooks or Thielen, but they always produce.
Taysom Hill...now ..had this not been the very last pick of his draft, I'd put it in the running for worst pick. Winston, despite having plus TE's for most of his career, has never utilized them well. And if we're banking on Hill running/passing, ok, great. Every 5th or 6th week, he'll have a nice game.
Balt..one of my always favorite go to DST, rarely are they not rock solid

Grade- B. Only true weakness I see is that TE..and Zach Ertz was on the board tsk tsk

Two strong QB's to play matchups, and didn't overpay for either..nicely done
Zeke Elliot and Monty- Zeke might have lost some luster, he's still a great back for this format. I think Monty is underated and a very solid rb2.
Kupp- I expect a massive dip from last year, but even a return all the way down to what he averaged before his historic season is damned good.
Godwin, tough call on a guy returning from injury and set to miss at least a month, but, could be a boon come playoff time. Until Godwin gets back, Kirk isn't a terrible option.
Sutton, my money is on Courtland being RW's go to guy. Love him as a wr2/3.
Kelce- I'm interested to see the dynamics of how defenses play KC without Hill, and how it'll affect Kelce's domination in the middle if the field. I still expect a top 3 TE season, but, I'm hedging a bit due to that uncertainty.
Niners, nothing fancy, just solid D.

Grade- A- the one big deficiency I see -the Godwin injury- is sufficiently filled so long as Kirk clicks with surfer boy.

QB: RW & Carr

Hoping for a big rebound year from RW, and even hoping for an elevated floor for Carr. Both playing in this division that could host a ton of shootouts. Won't need Carr much but he plays the Jags during RW's bye. But Carr did finish just outside of the top 10 fantasy QBs last season without a WR1. I'm set here.

RB: Harris, Kamara, A Jones, Pollard

I probably risked too much on Kamara, but the upside was just too easy to talk myself into. If he only sits out 2-3 games then I get fantastic value; possibly having 2 first round RBs. And yea, it forced my hand to pay a high premium on Jones. It would be unfortunate if all 3 end up being studs all year because someone is going to end up rotting on the bench. Pollard is a solid contributor in DAL. And Elliot's days as a workhorse appear to be coming to a close, if not already. Zeke gets hurt a lot.

WR: Hill, McLaurin, Cooper, Jeudy, Renfrow

I'm not feeling overly great about this corps. Hill could be due for a struggle year with Tua, and who knows what we'll get from Cooper on a struggling Browns team. I'm hoping he at least has volume. Jeudy's groin issue scared me away from taking Gallup later in the draft. But I'm hoping Jeudy can emerge this year with RW at the helm. I'm a big fan of pairing QB/WR1 after being carried most years by Rodgers & Adams lol. Felt that Renfrow was a safer dart throw. Needed that added safety with how shaky this group looks. About the only WR I feel comfortable with is McLaurin, and even he has question marks.

TE: Schultz

Volume over upside. This dude continues to get better & better. Reminds me of the Jason Witten & Heath Millers of the world. Not a gamechanging talent, but a blue collar safety net that eats up targets. It came down to him & Hock, and I went a safer route with my WRs in mind.

DST: Colts

I was puckered up waiting on this pick. I thought for sure I wouldn't get them. They are capable of being top 3 this year, especially given they play against the Jags & Texans 4/17 games. The other 13 games have a bottom 5 SOS... I think this unit is a fantastic get for the 8th defense taken.

K: Carlson

Herbert, possibly the #1QB
Chubb, if it's Brissett, they'll need to run him into the ground. If it's Watson, they won't, but he'll have a little more room...either way, it's not bad.
Gibson, one of my personal favs, too bad he's on a bad team, and kinda proved that he's not built to handle the bigger load. But still a viable RB2
Chase, already squarely in the picture for #1WR
Allen, while he's never been a guy I personally go for, he's always a producer. Most would be happy with him as a WR1, here he's a 2.
Mike Williams, now..doubling up on a WR stack is a little suspect, tripling up with the QB/WR/WR stack, in a suicide formatt, is dangerous. If Herbert gets dinged..your down A LOT. That said, Williams scores points. Period. And stealing AROB late, plus Woods, in his back pocket, it'll likely be ok.
TE- well here's the head scratcher. Yes Gronk is very very likely to re-up with TB. But even if he does, is he better than Ertz who went undrafted?? Not in my book. And in the off chance he doesnt and re-retires, that's just 14 or so weeks of zeros
Saints...would've been better off with the Ravens, Colts, Niner, Bengals, all available when the Saints were picked, but minor details.

Grade B- that TE, and the reliance on the Chargers air attack or its higher.

I don't see Davis going past Rd 4 in August drafts... His value is just too good to be true right now

Took him over miles sanders. Sanders would have fit my team much better!!
