Well I am out for the night. OU and Bama need to get together and do this again, it's always great when two top programs play each other, especially in bowl games like tonight.

And the media notion that the SEC is better than everyone else is a myth...until next season then it will be said that the top four slots for the bracket games need to be exclusively SEC teams.

We can always argue degrees ... it's probably not as wide as many think ... but pretty much everyone has given the SEC the edge the past 7 years for obvious reasons. A few bowl game losses doesn't change that (the SEC is still 5-2 this year). You do realize that one of the conferences has to be the best ... it's been the B1G, the BigXII, etc., for periods of time over the years. It's cyclical, but there will always be a best conference.

Nobody but an idiot would say all 4 slots should go to SEC teams. In fact, I doubt even idiots would say that. Only someone, like you, making a straw man argument would say that.

He's a load to bring down. He is listed at 6' 3 1/2" and 240 but I have been told he is about 6' 5" and around 255. I know he is the all time leading rusher in Florida high school history and i think he set the all time record for high school period. He can scoot for his size too running a 4.5 40, thats fast for a big man.

I think Alabama was hoping to get Georgia Southern in a bowl game. But not to worry, when Alabama or for that matter any SEC team loses in a bowl game it is because their heart wasn't in it because it was not the National Championship. And because their heart wasn't in it, it doesn't really count as a loss. So maybe Auburn doesn't belong in the NCG after all, since all they did was beat a team with two loses.

Alabama lost heart breaker to Auburn then was outplayed and played poorly tonight to lose. They will be fine! Looking forward to a great 2014! Consolation- I guess it's nice to be 12-2 and be considered a horrible year! We'll be back!

Turnovers and penalties are something we certainly can correct. We ran into a hotter than hell QB who, truth be told by OU fans, threw more perfect passes in this one game than he did all year. Congrats!!!
