I take Abdullah in just about any situation involving a young Romo. Right now, I don't feel Ameer or Duke are good fits with old man Romo. Rather see a bigger back that can block better coming out of this draft; Gurly, Coleman, Ajayi, Gordon, Da.Johnson & K.Williams. So many to choose from it almost makes you go crazy. I wouldn't mind even pulling two RBs from this draft and just let them fight over who takes time away from DMC.

what do you think about jeremy langford or tj yeldon?
I think Yeldon is boom or bust, really thought he would turn out to be a great player at Alabama, was good not great, playing behind one Hell of an OL. Physically he has it all, I think he is the 5th best feature back, right behind Ajyai. Langford is a tough kid, I think he will be a solid pro but not a star:2cents:

Probably right. It's a gutsy move no doubt, if our running game falls off and Murray kills it in Philly, Jerry will have more egg on his face than when he traded for Roy Williams.

I seriously doubt Murray kills it in Philly. They have no QB, so the defenses are going to gang up on Murray. The only question will be how many games into the season is he running off to the trainer's room.

There is a high potential for disaster in Philly. Every single player they brought in has major injury concerns. Bradford seems destined for IR. Miles Austin to pick up the slack for Maclin? LOL! If that situation blows up, it's going to be epic. I can't wait!

Philly has got to be feeling confident that Austin didn't pull a hammy on the way to the signing.

This is not aimed at anyone, but I personally try not to base my fandom on my on personal moral judgment. If I did I probably wouldn't be a sports fan at all. I don't personally agree with what AP did and yes I was whipped with switches and extension cords. When I was a kid it was normal... so I thought lol. Anyway Outside of killing someone, r*pe, or extreme child abuse (I dare say that what AP foolishly and recklessly did towards his son was abusive but I don't know if it crossed that line of being extreme. I was raised that way so I can't say it was extreme and I don't feel like I was abused and I'm not terrified of my family). Anyway got to deep there, I would like to draft a back in the 1st or 2nd round. I'm not against signing AP I'm a huge fan. I would rather see the money go towards singing Dez and just being prepared to sign our draft class and other needs. Can AP help this team Yes; I think we're better with him, but anything more than 2 years is to much.

I respect the opinions of those who feel this way towards AP ...AP isn't innocent. I personally believe in 2nd chances, but I don't think signing him to a 2 year deal hurts this team. In fact I think it gives us the most dangerous offense in the league not withstanding injuries.

It's not what AP did that makes me not want him. It's what he will cost both in terms of cap space and assets we'd have to sacrifice to get him. Let's fill this team out so that we're set to win post-Romo as well as now, not put all our eggs in one basket and hope it pans out over the next 2 seasons.

Exactly. If this team were to get, say Gordon in the 1st round and then go defense with the next 2-3 picks....On paper, they would be no worse than the 3rd best team in the NFC IMO, and they'd be built to beat either of the top two teams. They thumped Seattle last year in their place, and were right there to beat Green Bay. They've done a great job of getting the roster younger, and adding Lee and Hardy at WLB and pass rush end, coupled with Crawfords growth at 3T, gives Rod a chance to field a much improved D.

I agree, this is a great year to get a quality runner in the draft. Todd Gurley, Melvin Gordon, Tevin Coleman, Jay Ajayi, even the little Abdullah kid out of Nebraska and Duke Johnson out of Miami.

I don't know about the rest of his skill set but I love the speed of Duke

Exactly. Why is it everyone is down on getting AP, but not Hardy? I wouldn't have wanted to trade a high draft pick OR give a big contract with no protection to Hardy, let alone both. We didn't, so it was a good move. Plus AP is an aging RB which is risky too. Lastly, his attitude of the last few months tells me he will be a total asshole if he comes here. You can look past that when the guy is a great player, but when the talent level starts to drop the attitude starts to be a problem.
