  • Hands are a major concern - fights the ball on routine catches and shows inconsistent technique across all three levels
  • Blocking effort and technique are well below NFL standards despite his impressive physical tools
  • Struggles to maintain focus through the catch point, leading to concentration drops even when open
  • Route breaks in the intermediate area lack crispness, allowing corners to stay in phase through transitions
  • Needs significant work on securing catches through contact, particularly over the middle

Yeah that would worry me.

1. Not building the lines first IMO would be a huge mistake. I don't wany to see a WR until after the first pick in round three.
Unless they sign a LT, RT, G in Free agency, taking a WR would be like throwing a car in reverse at 60 MPH.

I'd be looking anywhere else but WR. IF TM was the greatest college WR ever, he would be useless on a team that can't protect the QB or give him enough time to wait for the fastest human to get thirty yards downfield.

A Cordarrelle Patterson that can throw the ball too?

First-round talent with day-three polish makes Williams one of this draft's most fascinating evaluations

The ideal offensive system will build around Williams' strengths early while developing his complete game.

Raw physical talent jumps off the tape with Williams, particularly in the vertical passing game where his combination of size and acceleration creates constant stress on defenses

Super athletic - Made Bruce Feldman's 2023 Freak's List at #56.

Accelerates like a sports car off the line

Brings defensive coordinator nightmares with his triple-threat ability - can house it as a runner, receiver, or surprise teams with his cannon arm

My 42 year old 6'6" 250# son was just transported to Concord, NH hospital after slipping in ice and falling down a full staircase while doing a security patrol at work.

Good news. X-rays and MRIs were all negative and he's walking.

Now he's trying to get back to the school (New England College) and get the maintenance department to check all of the outside stairs.

He's the head of night security of the campus.

Ever heard of Henniker, New Hampshire?? It's the only Henniker on earth.

Question: Should the Owners and NFLPA push to see if they can align the cap space for team to account for teams that have higher tax rates.

The owners should at a minimum. Some would want to push against since it's anadvantage/disadvantage depending on your side of the fence. If the salary cap is there to create balance, it shouldn't have imbalance built in. If there are other imbalances, those should be considered too.

I don't think the cap needs to be perfect, but it should be good enough that it isn't a factor in player decisions.

Agreed, and I am baffled this has not been talked about

More than likely, there is league rule in tiny print that the league will not get involved in political matters.

If it were legal, you'd think that every team would have it's charter and corporation based in states like NH, FL or any other state without income taxes. BUT, big BUT, every state has some form of business tax. If owners could take advantage of that and incorporate in the state with the lowest business tax, they'd be all over that in a heartbeat.

My guess is that teams initially started in the original NFL where the sport was very popular. Otherwise, Green Bay, Wisconsin would never have gotten a franchise. That and every citizen owns one share of the team's ownership there. My brother and his wife owned a share for the eight years that they lived there. He said that he'd move back in a second if the weather was like Florida.

Taxes were originally intended to provide for defense of the new country. Most new taxes were intended for improvement and were supposed to be temporary. Like anything else, once the money starts flowing in, nobody wants it to stop. You have to assume that the NFL feels the same way about it's teams. They can deduct every single penny of operation cost from their taxes. You and I know that as long as those deductions are in place, it's all good for the owners. Start messing with players' income tax and you endanger all of your own benefits.

Stay out of the politics.
